In its Chambers Europe 2020 survey, the international legal market evaluator Chambers and Partners selected NOVE as one of the best law firms in Estonia in the field of dispute resolution for the third year in a row. In addition, Mari Matjus was marked in the field of competition law and Urmas Volens in the field of real estate and dispute resolution.
Based on interviews with customers and colleagues, Chambers has pointed out that “NOVE has a strong team that is well recognised for its track record in contentious insurance cases. It has broader experience in litigation mandates spanning construction claims, governance disputes and debt recovery actions.” NOVE’s clients and colleagues have described the team as “very approachable,” with “specialists who know their fields extremely well.”
Veikko Puolakainen, Head of Dispute Resolution at NOVE, said that “NOVE’s continued recognition in the field of dispute resolution is a significant achievement, given that the data of the survey, published in March, is based on NOVE’s first three years of operation. 4 years have passed since NOVE was founded. The recognition confirms that dispute resolution continues to be one of NOVE’s most important areas of activity and the team is one of the most experienced in this field in Estonia. We thank all NOVE customers and colleagues for their appreciative feedback and trust.”
Each year, Chambers Europe provides an in-depth analysis of the legal markets in European jurisdictions, identifying leading law firms and lawyers through interviews with lawyers and their clients. More information about Chambers and their reviews can be found here.
